Hi, I’m Keisha Blades — an economist with the Central Bank of Barbados and a firm believer that economics shouldn’t live only in reports and research papers. I’m passionate about breaking down complex ideas and connecting them to real life, where people actually feel their impact.

I hold a master’s degree in economics and have spent my career exploring how data, policy, and lived experience intersect. Train of Thought grew out of that curiosity — and a desire to make economics more relatable, especially for everyday people who want to understand how the big picture affects their world.
